North Sound Fence just completed about 200 linear feet of 6' Cedar fence (Mod-Panel, board on board) along our roadway frontage. We are beyond satisfied with every aspect of the work that they completed! We started by getting quotes from four different local fencing companies who had good user reviews. I wasn't planning to select a company on their bid price alone, I wanted to pick the company that seemed the most knowledgeable, had the ability to schedule our project without too much delay, and of course had a competitive price. In our case, North Sound was the best in all of those categories. Shawn came out and reviewed our site, took measurements, and discussed what we wanted. Then within 24 hours Denise emailed us a quote with several options that we discussed. Before hiring them, I ended up talking to both Denise and Shawn on the phone several times with questions, and they were always very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. In addition, they were the lowest bid, and they by far had the ability to schedule our project the soonest. One of the other companies had a bid ALMOST $5,000 (about 60%) higher than what North Sound quoted. That was the outlier though, and I think that company was so busy they didn't care about getting our business. The other quotes we received were all much more reasonable, but all the other companies told us it would be two months or more before they could start our project. North Sound said they could start our project in two weeks! So we hired them! Then, Denise got in touch saying that they could actually start our job a week early. So from the time we hired North Sound, it was literally less than a week (just enough time to get underground utility locates) until they started working. The first crew showed up and installed all of the posts within one day. Then a few days later, after the concrete cured, the finish crew came in and framed in the fence, installed the fence boards, and built two gates over the course of two days. The final product is flawless, and far exceeded our expectations. I am an Engineer in the heavy civil construction industry, and I was looking for problems and could not find any. Their work is beautiful. Great materials (lumber, hardware, etc) and excellent craftsmanship all around. They were also very courteous, showing up when they said they would, and spending about 20 minutes at the end of each day thoroughly cleaning up every scrap of construction debris, sweeping off our driveway where they were working, etc. They are just all around the kind of company that makes you feel like you made a wise and worthwhile decision in hiring them. I have hired other contractors in the past who are sloppy, disorganized, take forever, try to upsell, claim differing conditions cost more, etc etc. There was absolutely none of that from North Sound Fencing. This is just a great bunch of people running a very efficient and legitimate business operation, and providing a product that gave us the highest possible level of satisfaction. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't contact North Sound for your fencing project. Thank you so much to Shawn, Denise, Gary, and the rest of the awesome North Sound team!

What a wonderful world it would be if all companies were like North Sound...  We have been working with contractors and laborers on all of our house projects for months and have been VERY frustrated.   But not these guys:  I called for an estimate on a split rail fence.  Next day they came out and gave me an estimate, it took 20 minutes.  The following day, their office called to schedule an install.  In two weeks we had our fence and it looks SO GOOD!  They were quick, easy to work with and the price was way less than I thought it would be.  They are everything a service company should be.  My husband and I love our new fence.  Call these guys, they are bitchin.  (And their office staff is informative and polite too!)

Justin and his crew were great to work with. They showed up on time every day and got to work. Justin came up with a smart solution for our dog that liked to dig under the fence by using a concrete “mow strip” to deter that activity. We went with the pre-stained cedar and it looks great, so no having to stain it afterwards. Their prices were very reasonable and I’m very impressed with the quality of the work done. Definitely recommend!

The process from bid to installation was reasonable considering the size of the job. Communication with their office manager Denise was pleasant, efficient and professional. Got over a dozen bids some companies never called back, prices were all over the place.  We got a recommendation from someone we knew so with that and analyzing all the pros and cons of other companies we choose North Sound and couldn't be happier.  They just completed a fence for part of our yard and we are having them back to do more next month.  As the lyric from the Tina Turner song goes....They are simply the best better than all the rest.

What a gorgeous job North South Fence did on our fence all the way around!  The transformation for our backyard is huge.  Highly recommend these guys I can't say enough good things!  You will not be disappointed.

North Sound Fence did an excellent job installing a new fence for us when our old one blew down in a windstorm. They were prompt with scheduling a quote, arrived when they said they would, and offered an extremely competitive quote for the job. Scheduling a date to start work was easy - again, they said when they were going to be here and were on time. Justin and his team completed the job flawlessly, were prompt in all communications and very professional. It was a pleasure having them do work for us and I highly recommend them.

I could not believe how good this company is. The work is beautiful, they finished a whole side of my fence in a couple hours, hauled the old fence away and when I noticed there was a small spot where one of my dogs could get thru, they showed up the next day and fixed it in the pouring rain!  Justin (the owner) was so nice and they did exactly the job they promised.  They have a customer in me for life!

Highly recommended… I contacted 14 companies to bid ~300’ of 6’ cedar fence (mod panel). 7 or 8 actually came out to provide an estimate. North Sound was very timely, they replied right away and Shawn was here a couple days later. Besides having the lowest bid, I could not find a negative review of this company. It was a no brainer. I couldn’t be more happy with their work! Go get other estimates until you tire, just make sure North Sound is one. You will not be disappointed!

We needed to replace our back fence and I found North Sound Fence online and called them up.  Shawn came out a couple days later and I was really impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.  He gave me a bid that had several scenarios.  I felt their price was very reasonable compared to some of the other bids I got from other companies.  Later I had a few questions and called up the office and spoke to Denise.  She was super friendly and helpful.  She was also very knowledgeable but checked with Shawn on a few things she wasn’t sure about.  After I told them what I wanted to do, they set up the dates to come do the project (just a couple weeks later).  They came out on the day they told me.  Shawn was there pretty much the whole time with his crew.  All of them were very respectful and friendly.  They took the old fence down in one day, hauled it off, and set the posts.  A couple days later, after the concrete had hardened, they came out and finished. They were quick and did a great job.  I had some really difficult spots near some large bushes and structures in the neighbor yard.  They figured out how to get it done and cleaned up everything before they left.  I would 100% recommend North Sound Fence.

North Sound Fence had very competitive pricing, was professional, responsive and did impeccable work. They tore down and hauled everything away and got the board on board new fence up in five days when others quoted seven. I would strongly recommend North Sound Fence to anyone.

They were excellent to work with. They were very responsive from our first call, to coming out to do the estimate, sending a bid in a timely manner, answering our follow-up questions, all the way through signing the contract and getting us on the schedule much faster than we anticipated, especially considering our yard has a weird configiration and needed some smaller than standard access gates that needed some "creativity" to make them work!  The installation crew were efficient, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves.  When we ran into an unanticipated problem in the back yard with an unknown/unmarked drainage line they were great about being flexible/changing the placement of the fence on the fly to make something that would work with everybody.  And they even rolled with the neighbor doing a small add on to the fence to make everything work out for everybody involved.  Would definitely recommend them for your fencing needs.
